The opening Cceremony of the 2nd Hobie Fishing

Championships presented by Daiwa was held tonight in Austin Texas. Competitors and event officials got together for a greet and meet and a BBQ dinner. They were presented with their event shirts and sponsor gift packs. The evening finished early as the anglers have to be on the water early in the morning for the Pre Fish day before the tournament gets serious on Tuesday for the first day of competition on Lake Bastrop.
